What's up with my cane chair?
Today started out raining, and continued all day a real humid and sticky day in Wayne .A visitor stopped in and asked" is it normal for my cane chairs to sag ?
People ask all the time, the answer is , yes it is completely normal for cane seats to sag a little when the humidity gets high.
As a matter of fact when the cane is installed it is done so when wet and as it dries it shrinks and becomes tight.
So, don't worry, when the air dries up a bit the seat will shrink back to it's usual tight appearance.
